Reading Is Fundamental

You may recall the commercials about “Reading is fundamental.” They sought to encourage young people to develop a love for literature.

In the world of Christian living and biblical counseling, “reading is fundamental.” However, most of us are so busy, that it’s difficult to know which books to purchase.

Enter the BCC’s Book Review site.

We want to provide you with the information you need to make informed choices about books related to Christian living and biblical counseling.

We do so with four book-related “categories”:

  • Book Reviews:  This is what people typically think of when they think of a book review site. We not only offer reviews of books on biblical counseling. More than that, we want to provide you with a biblical counseling perspective on books devoted to any number of topics related to Christian living.
  • Author Interview Q/A’s: We also want to introduce you to leading Christian authors and their books. Here, we let the authors speak for themselves about their writing ministries and their most recent book projects.
  • Book Video Trailers: Here, authors literally speak for themselves. These book video trailers are a unique way to get to know an author’s personal take on his or her most recent book.
  • Book Lists: The Book List is the most recent addition to the BCC’s book review site. Here, our reviewers collate the most important books in a given category (with dozens of categories “on the docket”).
