Meet our Staff Members
Curtis Solomon, Director
Curtis is a certified member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. He received a B.A. in Biblical Studies from The Master’s University and an M.Div. in Christian Ministries from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling. As an Air Force veteran Curtis is passionate about his dissertation topic which applies the truth of God’s Word to help those struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress. He has served as a missionary in the Arizona state legislature, Associate Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church, Instructor at Cornerstone Biblical Counseling Training Center and Adjunct Professor at Boyce College. He and his wife, Jenny, were married in 2003 and have two delightful sons.
Erin Joiner, M.A., Resource Director
Erin serves as the Resource Director of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. She earned her Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling in 2008 from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she also served as Director of Financial Aid from 2008-2017. She and her husband, Matt, have been married since 2009 and have a beautiful daughter, Ezra Mae. They recently moved to Rockford, IL, where Matt serves as associate pastor at Harvest Rockford and Erin looks forward to serving in the Biblical Soul Care ministry.
Jodi Montgomery, M.A., Ministry Coordinator
Jodi has been on staff with the BCC since 2014. She holds a Master of Arts in Theology/Biblical Counseling from Central Baptist Theological Seminary has been blessed to serve the Lord through a variety of Biblical Counseling ministries in recent years. Jodi is mom to Jonathan, Elyse and son-in- law Christopher, and recently welcomed her first grandchild. She is passionate about worshiping God through music and has served in music ministry throughout her adult life.
Steve Omoniyi, Leadership Intern
Steve holds a Masters of Divinity in Theology and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Educational Ministry in Leadership at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to this, he had served as the Personal Assistant to the Convention President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, General Manager of Baptist Press Ltd, coordinator of Family and Marital Clinic, Lead trainer at Imisi Training Group where he teaches, trains, mentors and helps people resolve personal conflict biblically. Steve has long term experience in missions, counseling, pastoral care, student and youth ministries. He and his wife Tope are blessed with four children.
Christie Roy, Partner Relations Intern
Christie is currently pursuing her BS in Biblical Counseling from Boyce College in Louisville, KY, and is also pursuing ACBC certification. She grew up in a family of biblical counselors and wants to serve those involved with biblical counseling by providing biblical resources and connections to foster a thriving counseling community. She is the seventh child of ten children and the proud aunt to eight adorable nieces and nephews. She attends Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville and enjoys serving with the children’s ministry.
Rachel Reichard, Social Media/Communications Intern
Rachel was born and raised on the island of O‘ahu, HI where she worked as a Teacher’s Assistant at a traveling preschool for homeless and low-income families. She was previously employed by The Master’s University as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer before she transferred to Boyce College in Louisville, KY to pursue a BS in Biblical Counseling. She enjoys videography and graphic design and is very passionate about helping victims of sexual exploitation. She hopes to one day become a biblical counselor for human trafficking victims.
