This interview takes place in their home and provides a small window into the struggles and blessings that come with being a family with special needs. As the Biblical Counseling Coalition Council Board gathers we will be discussing how biblical counselors can help address the spiritual struggles faced by people with disabilities, as well as their family and care givers. Colin received his Master of Divinity degree from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. Colin currently works for Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates, and he previously worked as a hospital chaplain in level one pediatric and adult trauma hospitals. In 2010, Colin’s wife, Marianne, developed two auto-immune liver diseases. They currently live in Louisville, KY, where they are members of Crossing Church. Continue reading
