BCC Staff Note: On weekends we like to highlight for you one of our growing list of free resources. This weekend we highlight a resource audio from the 2014 IBCD Summer Institute. For a complete list of speakers and messages, visit the IBCD Summer Institute 2014 home page.
In this resource, Ernie Baker addresses How Proper Worship Changes Habitual Desires. What wrong desires do you habitually battle? Do worry and anxiety seem deeply embedded? How about strong sexual desires or habits? Maybe the habitual struggle in your life is with procrastination and laziness. Please consider that we choose to rejoice in, love, trust, and seek refuge in many things throughout each day and this can be at the root of our wrong desires. The premise of this audio is that we all live as worshipers daily and that learning to live as a proper worshiper changes the stubborn desires of the heart. Many practical suggestions for what it means to live life worshiping properly will be given.
