BCC Note: The mission of the BCC is to multiply the ministry of the biblical counseling movement. One of the ways we do so is by being a “megaphone” for other biblical counseling organizations. We like to say, “The BCC is not about the BCC; the BCC is about BC.” This weekend we use our BCC megaphone, with the permission of CCEF’s President, Tim Lane, to help make you aware of a significant opportunity to make an investment in the vital ministry of CCEF.

From Tim Lane, President of CCEF

Recently, a generous donor has given a matching gift of $125k. A matching gift means that every single dollar that is given between now and August 31, 2013 will be matched by this donor. Every dollar you give will have twice the impact.

Our Story of Growth

In the spring of 2007, I took on the role of leading CCEF. At the time, CCEF was in a significant financial crisis, in debt around 1.7 million dollars. Over the past 6 years, God has graciously blessed CCEF with generous donors and gifted employees to get us headed in the right direction. Today, we have only $250K debt remaining to pay down. We would like to completely wipe this debt out by the end of the fiscal year.

Our Story Needs Your Story

You have been faithful to be the hands and feet of our vision and we’re grateful for that. Our ministry is dependent on individuals personally carrying out the vision through ministering to one another. Also, our ministry is greatly dependent on individuals who contribute financially.

Will you continue to be a part of the vision? Support us as we are in the process of opening up new locations, producing more resources, and training thousands of students every year through our online courses available all over the world.

  1. It took clicks on a succession of links to find out what CCEF stands for. It would not insult this reader if you included the full name in parentheses after the initials.

  2. That’s a good point, Suzanne. Sorry for the extra work you had to do to discover that CCEF is the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation: http://ccef.org
